Do not expect secretaries to be hanging on the end of a telephone line awaiting your call.
Please correspond by letter if at all possible
and it would assist efficiency if photostats of the new booking forms (see PAGB Handbook) were used when requesting service.
N.B. All Lecture Secretaries suffer from Clubs which make telephone bookings, but do not follow up in reasonable time. TELEPHONE BOOKINGS WILL BE CANCELLED IF A WRITTEN BOOKING IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN ONE WEEK of the phone call. Appropriate fees, labels, SAE etc. must be included.
