You were lucky to find one of these birds with a mouth full of sand eels, shame he landed where he did. Your DOF is quiet shallow making the flowers in the foreground out of focus as well as obscuring his foot. I feel the light was against you which has caused a lot of grain in your image from a high ISO. You may have already had to crop in but you could have come in closer still retaining that sense of his environment. Sue Sibley
