This image has very similar points as to those mentioned in the Yellow Place in the colour prints.
Overall the image has been exposed correctly and the elements of the image kept to a minimum.
Here the green door and window are the points of interest. Who doesn’t want to go over and look in the window, I know I do?
The time of day is casting those long shadows take away from the potential of this image especially with the possibilities of how a softer evening light would look on that green door and wall.
Personally I would crop out the foliage on the right of the image as it is almost non existent and does not add to the overall image. A second image to expose for the dark window and then painted in in post processing would have reduced those deep blacks and added further interest as to what lies beyond the tea pot and plant. - Matthew
