PDI - Lily by Ann Doherty (13 marks)

A still life of the Lily where the photographer is experimenting with the view point but I find the lily is over powering the vase by size and DOF. The Vase is getting lost in the background and is too small. Sue Sibley

A very elegant composition, with the lily flower and the vase both perfectly positioned within the square crop. The muted background echoes some of the other tones in the image, contributing to a very harmonious overall colour palette. - Judith
